Photo of the week: sunset on the salar

Sunset over Uyuni

Before we did the three-day tour to Bolivia’s salt flats, we were often warned about the hellish first night spent in freezing cold temperatures at a high altitude in very basic accommodation. Luckily for us, the altitude and cold were bearable, and even basic accommodation looks luxurious with this view. This is a snippet from our three-part photo series on our adventure into Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni.
